Delete your account

In the app

Open Profile → Danger Zone → Delete My Account. Type your email to confirm, and your password unless you sign in with Google.

Without the app

Email privacy@buoy-ai.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. It’s done within 30 days. The delete account page has the details.

What happens

• Any paid plan is cancelled and your billing record at Stripe is deleted.
• Bank connections are disconnected at Plaid.
• If you own a family, it’s closed.
• Your data is deleted and your account record is anonymized.

Deleting an account doesn’t give that email address a new free trial.
