AI chat

Premium, the free trial, and family members who get Premium through their family.

Open AI Chat from the menu and type a question in “Ask about your finances…”. The AI answers from your real data in Buoy: accounts, transactions, budgets, count-up categories, savings goals, subscriptions, income and your rewards.

Good questions are specific: “How much did we spend eating out on weekends last month?”, “Can I afford a $900 trip in March, and how?”, “What subscriptions went up this year?”

Changes it can make, with your approval

The AI can also set things up for you. Before anything changes, it shows a Confirmation Required preview and waits for you to approve. It can:

• create or change budget categories, and switch rollover or count-up on or off
• create or update savings goals, and record money added to a goal
• add, delete, re-date or recategorize transactions

It has no way to move real money, pay anyone, or touch your bank.

History

Chat history in the header shows your last 20 conversations. Open one to continue it, delete it, or start fresh. Clear conversation empties the current chat.

Limits

Premium includes about 50 messages an hour and 200 a day. If you hit a limit, try again later.
